Using this website

The website explains the Missing Link managed follow-up service for independent businesses and lets a business contact us about setup. Website information is general and may be updated. Sending a form does not create a service agreement or require either party to proceed.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or unlawful information, interfere with its operation, or use private links belonging to another business. Do not enter passwords, card details, security codes or unnecessary sensitive personal information into website forms.

Package and price

• One complete managed follow-up package
• £97 setup fee
• £97 per month
• Missing Link is not currently VAT registered, so the stated £97 prices are the total amounts payable and no VAT is added

Setup and billing

• The customer reads and accepts the full service agreement during checkout
• The £97 setup fee covers tailoring, configuration, preparation and controlled testing
• A direct buyer receives a full £97 refund if the initial suitability call confirms that the standard service cannot work with the business’s existing phone arrangement, before tailored setup work begins
• Standard setup is completed within five working days after all required onboarding information and access are received
• The customer chooses a preferred go-live date and Missing Link confirms it
• The first £97 monthly payment is taken only on the confirmed go-live date
• Monthly payments are then normally taken in advance on the same calendar date

Included service

• Missed enquiry recovery and customer enquiry-link SMS
• Structured enquiry details sent to the business
• Quote follow-up, payment follow-up and review requests
• Phone-friendly customer and job dashboard
• Optional business/personal call split and personal voicemail where selected, technically available and successfully tested
• Ongoing operation, support and monthly value reporting

The exact enabled features, messages, timings and phone routes are recorded during onboarding and in any later written changes.

Not included

• Live telephone answering
• Appointment booking, diary management or emergency dispatch
• Bookkeeping, accounting, or creating quotes and invoices
• Handling complaints, legal debt recovery or negotiating disputed invoices
• Additional work outside the agreed package without prior discussion and approval

Cancellation

• The customer may cancel the monthly service at any time by email
• Service normally continues to the end of the current paid service period unless an earlier shutdown is requested
• No further monthly payments are taken after cancellation is processed
• No partial refund is normally due for a voluntary early stop within a paid service period

Failed monthly payment

• Service normally continues for seven calendar days while payment is resolved
• After seven days, customer-facing routes may be temporarily suspended
• Restoration requires the outstanding monthly fee and the reasonable reactivation charge stated at the time, currently £20
• Service is restored by the end of the next working day after cleared payment and any required safety checks
• After 30 days, the account and service may be closed with notice

No guaranteed result

Missing Link provides and manages a consistent follow-up process. It does not guarantee recovered jobs, accepted quotes, customer payments, reviews, search rankings, increased revenue or any particular financial return.

Content, availability and responsibility

The Missing Link name, branding, website content, workflows, templates and materials belong to Missing Link or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation, but must not copy, resell, republish or commercially exploit them without written permission.

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, but temporary interruption, maintenance or third-party failure may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Missing Link is not responsible for loss caused by misuse of the website, reliance on outdated website information after clearer written terms have been supplied, or failures outside its reasonable control.

Privacy and law

Our privacy notice explains how personal information is used. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction subject to any mandatory legal right that applies.
